Helen Hallows

Derbyshire based Helen Hallows started out as a freelance embroidery designer for international home and fashion clients including Pottery Barn, Hallmark, Next and The Company Store.  Her move from working with fabrics, to using papers came when her work started to sell for greetings cards and she needed to digitally manipulate the surface.

Her unique style of collages which use vintgage papers layered over ink washes and secured with stitch.

A collection of framed prints is currently available at Opus.

Helen's next collection of original work will be exhibited in November 2012.
