Iain MacKay
Opus is delighted to welcome a new collection from Iain during the month of May for his first full exhibition for the gallery
Born in the shadow of Pendle Hill in the Lancashire Dales Iain spent many years in Sussex where he studied Architecture at Brighton. He returned northwards in 1970 and has practiced architecture in Derbyshire since then. A constant interest in art and painting has driven a determination to combine painting with architecture.
Iain's stunning watercolours have graced the gallery walls since 2011 and he has already established himself as a firm favourite.
His work is on display throughout May and beyond.
